Mr Ouderlamd Bir Protik is no more. Mr Ouderland Bir Protik has left us on Friday 18 May 2001 at a local hospital in Perth, Western Australia. He was 84 years old and died a natural death fighting old age. The Bangladeshi community in Australia and elsewhere is grieved by his passing way and share their sorrow with his family and friends. His funeral was held on Thursday 24 May 2001. Bangladesh's High Commissioner to Australia represented the Government and people of Bangladesh in the last rites. In accordance with his gallantry award, Mr Ouderland was buried with Bangladesh colours. Considering his contributions to the War of Liberation, we will greatly appreciate it if you convey this mournful message to communities around the world. We would appreciate messages sent to the Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra at bdoot.canberra@cyberone.com.au or OuderlandBirProtik@yahoogroups.com
